Is 0xinsider legit? What you can check for yourself

Bottom line

Yes. 0xinsider builds Polymarket analytics & infrastructure for sports and esports markets. It never holds your money or your keys, and the site places no trades. The domain is under a year old, so here are the facts you can check yourself.

0xinsider never holds your money or asks for your keys

There is nothing to deposit and no wallet to connect. 0xinsider reads Polymarket's public record: the trades, positions and results every wallet leaves on-chain and in Polymarket's API. When you decide to trade, you do it on Polymarket, in your own account.

To follow a wallet, you type its Polymarket username or address, both of which are public, and nothing is signed. The footer of every page says 0xinsider never asks for your passwords or private keys, and no page asks for a seed phrase or a wallet signature. A page that asks you for one is not 0xinsider.

One 0xinsider program does place trades, and it runs on your computer. potd-trader buys the Pick of the Day on your own Polymarket account. Its code is public under the MIT license, it starts in dry-run mode, and your key signs on your machine through Polymarket's official SDK. The security page links it and states that 0xinsider holds no user funds and signs no trades.

Trevor I. Lasn runs it, and plans and Polymarket's partner program pay for it

0xinsider's founder is Trevor I. Lasn. The academic page lists him as the author of 0xinsider's dataset, and he told how 0xinsider started in a published interview. Support, billing, data corrections and security reports go to support@0xinsider.com, listed on the contact page.

The money comes from two places: the paid plans, and Polymarket. Every polymarket.com link on 0xinsider carries the partner tag 0xinsider, and Polymarket's partner program pays 0xinsider a share of the trading fees from traders who arrive through those links. The guide to 0xinsider's Polymarket account gives the rates and what the referral program has paid so far.

So 0xinsider earns more when you trade more on Polymarket. Read its picks with that in mind.

The Pick of the Day record keeps all 300 losses

June to September made $27,918; October lost $6,465

Profit before fees by month, in dollars, at a flat $1,000 on every settled pick.

749 settled picks, June 24, 2026 to October 27, 2026: 449 won and 300 lost. The 4 withdrawn picks are left out, as the stats page leaves them out. Each pick at the midpoint price when it was published, before fees and the bid-ask spread. 0xinsider's public Pick of the Day stats, read October 28, 2026.

June to September made $27,918; October lost $6,465
Jun+$3,585
Jul+$629
Aug+$14.6K
Sep+$9,119
Oct-$6,465

The chart above is the whole record at a flat $1,000 a pick, before fees: 749 settled picks from June 24, 2026 to October 27, 2026, 449 won and 300 lost. It made $21,453, 2.9% of the money staked, and October on its own lost $6,465.

A screenshot from October 23 would look better. The record peaked at $43,995 that day and stood $22,542 lower on October 27, 2026. Every loss is still on the stats page, with 4 withdrawn picks and the reason for each: 3 went out after their games had started, and 1 game was cancelled.

The record also states its own limit. Its verification page says most historical picks have no public pregame proof and some hashes arrived after kickoff. Whether the picks are worth paying for is a separate question, and the worth-it study answers it with their edge over the price: so far, not distinguishable from luck.

The research publishes its SQL and keeps its corrections

Graded at the trade, S, A and B wallets fell from +1.57 to +0.34 points over the price

The grade study's edge over the price paid, in percentage points, by the wallet's grade: as published on September 12, 2026, and re-measured with each buy graded at the trade.

  • Published September 12
  • Corrected October 7

The study's published window, June 1 to September 11, 2026, every market: 24,610 S, A and B buys as published, 28,963 re-measured. The re-measure leaves out void and unresolved markets, which the published query scored as losses; its 95% interval on S, A and B is ±1.07 points, clustered by market and by wallet. S and A on their own are in the grade study's correction table. Re-measured October 7, 2026; query and output in github.com/0xinsider/research, grade-vs-price/.

Graded at the trade, S, A and B wallets fell from +1.57 to +0.34 points over the price
CategoryPublished September 12Corrected October 7
S, A and B+1.57 pts+0.34 pts
B+1.94 pts-1.09 pts
D and F-2.06 pts-0.37 pts

The chart above is a correction 0xinsider published against its own study. The grade study's September 12, 2026 run put S, A and B wallets 1.57 points ahead of the price they paid, but its query read rankings rewritten after the trade. Graded at the trade, the October 7, 2026 re-run cut the same window's edge to 0.34 points, and B wallets went from +1.94 to -1.09.

Both runs sit in a public GitHub repository, with the SQL, raw query output and bootstrap scripts behind 0xinsider's research. Its README sets the rule: when a number on the site and a number in the repository disagree, the repository is right and the page has a bug.

Every wallet profile on 0xinsider links to the same wallet on Polymarket, so you can set a grade's trades beside Polymarket's own page.

The domain dates from January 2026, and scanners count its age against it

0xinsider.com was registered on January 31, 2026, through Cloudflare, according to the .com registry's public record. The owner's details in that record are redacted for privacy; the founder's name is in the section above.

Site scanners count age, traffic and that redacted record. On October 28, 2026, ScamAdviser's report rated the site Likely Safe, with a trust score of 65, and listed the young domain, the hidden owner and low traffic among its negatives. URLVoid found it on 0 of 36 blocklists.

Scam Detector scored it 19.6 out of 100 and tagged it "New. Suspicious. Dubious." The same report gives the domain age as "Less than a month" and the blacklist status as "Not detected by any blacklist engine". A scanner's number is only as current as its facts, so read a report's date and reasons before its score, and check each against a source you can open yourself.
