PredictFolio Alternative: A Paid Grade Against a Free Tool Mid-Rebuild

PredictFolio's footer calls it 'a free to use tool that leverages blockchain data to provide insights into prediction market traders' performance,' and its terms of service name ClearCode B.V., based in the Netherlands, as the operating company.

A site-wide banner on 2026-09-17 read: 'We're rebuilding our data pipeline for real-time data. You may see some downtime over the next few days.' Consistent with that, several routes its own sitemap lists (/dashboard, /news, /blog, /traders, /polyalpha) returned 'Trader not found' at fetch time, and /community showed 'Coming soon.'

PredictFolio is entirely free. No paid plan was found anywhere on the site, including for its API, which serves an OpenAPI 3.1 specification with 44 documented paths.

0xinsider's core reads are free with an account, but the live feed and full analytics require a paid Pro subscription.

PredictFolio's leaderboard sorts by a smartScore, described only as 'Composite score (0-100)' with no published method. A separate 'Profile score' is explicitly a popularity metric: 'based on total amount of likes and dislikes,' not a skill measure. Where it goes further than most competitors here is P&L transparency: its bundle describes 'profit after trading costs: mark-to-market PnL minus fees paid, plus rebates earned,' as a distinct figure from a second number that adds LP, holding, and Merkle-claim rewards on top.

0xinsider's grade is about 95% realized (banked) profit, with eligibility floors that do real work: anything above a C needs verified net-positive realized profit, and the top three grades also need a real resolved-market count and a survivable worst drawdown. Its own P&L accounting credits maker and taker rebates and includes fees, though it does not break the figure into as many separately named lines as PredictFolio's profile page does.

PredictFolio lets a reader add and compare several wallets in one view, with a combined activity feed and combined top-wins list across every linked account. 0xinsider has no equivalent: each grade and profile is a single wallet.

The tradeoff sits in the API license. PredictFolio's API is 'provided for personal, academic, and non-commercial use only' under CC BY-NC 4.0, which rules out building a commercial product on it. 0xinsider's API and MCP server are usable in a reader's own commercial tools and agents under an active Pro subscription.

PredictFolio is free, with no paid plan found for any feature, including the API.

0xinsider's free account includes the full trader leaderboard, full trader profiles with Insights, the previous day's large trades, and one Pick of the Day. Use PredictFolio if the job is free, all-category Polymarket reads with a detailed fee-and-rebate P&L breakdown and a multi-account view, and the current rebuild-related downtime is one you can work around.

Use 0xinsider if the job is a sports and esports grade with published eligibility floors, an API you can build a commercial product on, and a site with no active rebuild notice.
