Category focused activity on Polymarket
One known category accounts for at least 70% of recorded positive USD cost basis, and concentration clearly leads the other qualifying patterns.
What the label means
Category focused means one known market category accounts for at least 70% of the wallet's recorded positive USD cost basis. It describes where the stored positions' cost is concentrated. It does not say the wallet is an expert in that category or reacts to news.
- At least 70% in one category
- The threshold applies to recorded positive USD cost basis, not market count or win rate.
- At least 80% category coverage
- Known categories must account for at least 80% of recorded positive USD cost basis. Missing categories remain in the denominator.
- Concentration, separately from results
- The same category-focused pattern can appear in a profitable or unprofitable history.
How a wallet gets the label
The model compares every qualifying activity pattern. It uses stored market records and keeps performance, intent, and execution assumptions out of the assignment.
The basis
The classifier compares the largest known category's recorded cost basis with the total recorded positive USD cost basis. Known categories must cover at least 80% of that total. Missing and unnamed categories remain in the total but do not count as a known category.
After at least 20 stored markets, the classifier compares every qualifying pattern. The leading score must reach 0.50 and exceed the next score by at least 0.15. Otherwise the label is Mixed activity. These scores compare patterns; they are not probabilities.
What the label looks like on a profile
The profile explanation names the main category and its share of recorded cost basis. A two-sided or high-density pattern can remain as an additional trait, or make the main result Mixed activity when neither clearly leads.
The sample is the wallet's lifetime stored market records. It can differ from its complete exchange history. Recorded USD cost basis measures the cost assigned to those positions, not current portfolio value or trading volume.
What the label reads, and what it leaves out
- At least 70% in one category
- The threshold applies to recorded positive USD cost basis, not market count or win rate.
- At least 80% category coverage
- Known categories must account for at least 80% of recorded positive USD cost basis. Missing categories remain in the denominator.
- Concentration, separately from results
- The same category-focused pattern can appear in a profitable or unprofitable history.
What the label does not prove
- 01
Category concentration does not demonstrate expertise, forecasting skill, news timing, or a particular research process.
- 02
A trading style describes the recorded sample. It does not establish intent, software use, order role, holding duration, or future behavior.
- 03
Profit, grades, and risk metrics are separate. A winning or losing record does not change the trading style.

Other observed trading styles
- Two-sided positions in a wallet's history
Both outcomes appear in at least 60% of the wallet's stored markets, and that pattern clearly leads the other qualifying patterns.
- High trade density in stored markets
At least 8 recorded trades per stored market on average, with trade density clearly leading the other qualifying patterns.
- Diversified activity across market categories
At least 3 known categories with positive cost basis, no category above 50% of recorded positive USD cost basis, and known categories covering at least 80% of that basis.
- Mixed activity with no dominant pattern
The wallet has enough usable history, but no pattern clearly leads. Qualifying patterns remain visible as traits.
Where the label shows up
A published trading style appears beneath the wallet name on its profile. Open its badge for the definition and wallets with the same label. The leaderboard ranks wallets of grade B and above by score; it has no trading-style filter.
