4 World Cup favorites, and the money agrees with all of them

Every favorite in tonight's 4 women's World Cup qualifiers is priced at 80 cents or more. I sorted the holders: the most profitable accounts and the biggest loser are all on the same favorites.

Tonight's 4 women's World Cup qualifiers close out the European group stage, and every favorite is priced like a near-lock: England at 97 cents, Spain 92 cents, France 84 cents, the Netherlands 80 cents. That is usually the whole story, but I sorted who holds each side anyway. The wallets say the same thing the prices do.

Every game has a heavy favorite

France vs Ireland is the one game that matters. Winner takes the group and the only automatic spot in Brazil. Ireland beat the Netherlands 3-2 in Cork on Friday to get here, and a win in Grenoble would make them the first Pot 4 side ever to top a League A group. France lead by a point at home, and the money backs them at 84 cents.

Iceland vs Spain decides the other group. Spain top it with a win, four days after putting four past England. The side is settled at 92 cents, so the live number is the total: Iceland have 8 goals in 5 group games, and the books lean under 2.5.

England vs Ukraine is the closest thing to a lock. England won the reverse 6-1, Ukraine arrive winless and already relegated, and at 97 cents there is no edge, only risk. Netherlands vs Poland carries the flattest favorite and the longest draw, 80 cents on the side and 14 on the draw, with nothing left for the Dutch to play for after Friday's loss.

Profitable and losing wallets agree

Profitable and losing money sit on the same favorites. SnakeBall, up $96,000 all-time, and Oddstorm, up $61,000, are both on Spain. lukibazdonauki754, up $42,000, holds England, Spain and France. The biggest loser on the board, UpTheBlues, down $113,000, is on the same France and Spain positions.

Positions run $100 to $740, and nobody has sized up against a favorite. When profitable and losing wallets crowd the same favorites, the price is not hiding anything. The only markets worth a look tonight are France-Ireland, for what is at stake, and the Iceland under, for the goals.
