How to read a win rate
Win rate is the share of resolved trades that finished in profit. It is the most quoted trader statistic and the least informative on its own, because it counts how often, never how much.
A trader who is right 90% of the time and loses their entire stake on the tenth trade is unprofitable. A trader right 35% of the time on long shots can be strongly profitable. Both facts are invisible in the percentage.
Read win rate with price
In a binary market the entry price already implies a hit rate. Buying Yes at $0.80 should win about 80% of the time if the market is fairly priced, so an 80% win rate on favorites is average performance, not skill.
What matters is the gap between win rate and the implied probabilities the trader paid. Beating the price is edge; matching it is noise.
Where 0xinsider uses win rate
Win rate appears on trader profiles and the leaderboard when available. Read the resolved-market count beside it: a short winning streak leaves more uncertainty than a comparable long record. Entry prices and loss sizes determine whether those wins were profitable.
