Polymarket does not label accounts as bots
Polymarket does not label accounts as bots or humans. The labels in our March 2026 comparison were 0xinsider's own, inferred from trading patterns. They were not provider fields or on-chain facts.
Those labels are no longer in the product. Migrations 309 and 316 removed the stored bot-label columns, and today's profiles and leaderboard do not reproduce the old cohorts.
We withdrew the original cohort counts, P&L comparisons, calibration values, and category breakdowns. Our repository has no dated read-only query or captured result that could audit them, so this page does not republish them as evidence.
What the labels measured
The retired analysis grouped accounts by patterns in their trades: frequency, regular timing, repeated sizes, market coverage, and the share of prices on whole cents. Those patterns describe recorded rows. They do not prove automation, execution speed, intent, or a liquidity role.
The label was not a maker or taker field. Our public trade data does not cover every maker and taker, and it has no per-row liquidity role. The legacy maker_pct field holds the whole-cent price share estimate under an old name.
Do not use an old behavioral label as a current profile fact, an explanation for P&L, or a trading recommendation. Republishing cohort figures would need an owned query, a dated captured result, and a reproducible read-only check.
What you can use now
Wallet profiles show current metrics for each wallet, with no bot or human label. Read them as current account data, separate from this note.
Where the whole-cent price share is shown, it describes a recorded price pattern. It cannot tell you whether a fill supplied liquidity, crossed the book, or caused an outcome.
This page stays a method note until an auditable source for the old figures exists.
Common questions
Does Polymarket provide a bot or human label?
No. Polymarket does not provide that label. The labels described here came from a retired 0xinsider behavioral analysis and are not current provider data.
Can I reproduce the historical cohort comparison?
Not from the current product. The stored label outputs were removed, and this page does not publish the old counts or comparisons without a dated query and captured result that readers can audit.
Does whole-cent price share identify maker or taker execution?
No. It describes the share of selected trades whose recorded prices land on whole cents. It does not identify liquidity role, order placement, or trading intent.
What would be needed to republish the cohort figures?
An owned read-only query, a dated captured result, and a check that reproduces the cohort definitions and every reported metric.
